Flange Measuring Tool
Step 2:
Use the flange measuring tool to determine the size of the nipple. The goal is to measure just the nipple, not the areola (the dark part that surround the nipple)
Note: The nipple is not a perfect circle; measure at the widest part of your anatomy
Step 1:
Pinch and roll the nipple between your pointer finger and thumb
Step 3:
Repeat on the other side. It’s normal for the left and right to be different sizes
Step 4:
Grab two flanges: (1) the exact size you measured AND (2) add 3-4mm to the size you measured. Try both flange sizes and compare comfort. Use whichever size feels the best.
Example. The nipple measures at 14mm; try a 14mm flange and a 17mm flange. Use the flange that is most comfortable.
